Toynami always has "intentions" for future waves in their various toy lines even though those future waves almost never come. In the past they've put the blame on the customer saying sales were too poor to justify further waves.
I truly do hope Toynami has improved these things because the people spending the money on them (and $30-$35 is frankly too much for one of these tiny domestic figures) deserve something that isn't going to deteriorate and fall apart in front of their eyes.
I'd actually consider getting another one if I could be assured that the plastic was better, but with my previous experience of Toynami figures I don't think its worth the risk.
