I think they took it apart to add in more pose and finer detail. They did say that they're picking it back up not starting from scratch so I suppose this should seem familiar.

I gotta agree as I've said before, more pose equals less detail. All current preds have ball hinge shoulders and ball hinge elbows with ball jointed wrists. That doesn't provide as much range of motion as possible, but it all looks connected and like one piece in the end. Double hinged elbows get more pose yeah, but then you have a break in the arm which detracts from appearances and the same can be said of ball jointed/hinged torsos. Maybe they're giving these AVP figures more pose since they were more "acrobatic" in a tank-ish way.
Something I did wonder: will these figures also be ages 17+ like all previous Predator figures or will they be ages 14+ like the Pacific Rim figures since this was also just a PG-13 movie? Doesn't really matter to me, but I am curious.
