Had they done the regular eyes, and maybe even a removable face plate, he would've looked more like Dr.Doom. Is this supposed to be a Doom bot?

It looks human to me, Doom was always a guy in a mechanical body suit he was always bulkier.

The "Ghost" is probably the future foundation colors it's right out of the comic, color wise.

I am sure at some point in the comic he had a "Stealth" suit, Iron Man had one.

Looked it up the "stealth" version looks like the suit form Rise of the Silver Surfer.
