TFW2005 member griffin-of-oz dropped by to share with us some juicy information on the DVD release of Transformers Rescue Bots in Australia.
Rescue Bots in Australia is getting DVD releases courtesy of
Beyond Home Entertainment
, who have so far released four volumes covering the first 20 episodes of the show's first season. They are following this up by
releasing a fifth volume
, covering the remaining six season 1 episodes in January 2015.
This means that all 26 episodes of Rescue Bots season 1 will be available to purchase on DVD in Australia (and consequently can be enjoyed by fans worldwide, as long as you can view a Region 4 PAL DVD). Furthermore, Beyond Home Entertainment have stated they are expecting to have a complete season 1 boxed set available in around March.
This is significant, as Shout Factory has previously stated they do not intend to do season box sets for Rescue Bots in the US, and have skipped some episodes from their DVD volumes in favor of doing "themed" DVD releases.
So if you want to enjoy Rescue Bots as a complete season set, it looks like your best bet at this time is Beyond Home Entertainment and their Australian market releases. Major kudos to Griffin for sharing this with us.
