once the character rights are sealed...it is 100% legit and BEFORE (fingers crossed) Christmas they will go public with it. Which could be someone making up crap, or could be legit. It's either or and nowhere near confirmed.

It's also been stated before that the Cap 3 script is finalized and it doesn't have Parker in it at all. The re-casting would also mean potentially them scrapping plans for Venom and Sinister Six as well as ASM 3.

We'll see come the date suggested, but I'd honestly suggest being cautiously optimistic. The whole "a friend of a friend told me on the internet" more often than not pans out to be false.
