If you have complaints about distribution and availabillity, complain to your local retailers. They decide what goes on their shelves and what doesn't.
They may not control it but it IS their product. They should think it's important to pursue the companies to put the product on the shelf. I don't think it should be up to the consumer to have to contact the store. What do we say? "PUT MARVEL FIGURES ON THE SHELF!!!"...The Store: "Ok sir?.."

There is a Hasbro rep at my store and her job is to make sure the product is on the shelf and displayed properly. I usually have a conversation with her about the distribution. Nice lady too.
