Yeah, the return of Annihilus to F4 and the death & return of Johnny was in Jonathan Hickman's run, which I mentioned was the first run in quite some time that had Annihilus, The Inhumans, The Kree, Ronan, etc...
Thanks to Hickman, some of these characters have become more present in F4 and FF (well, when it was still around), like Kang, Medusa, and Medusa's son Ahura, becoming regular characters in F4 & FF.
I probably should have expressed my thoughts more articulately and said "haven't been, prior to Hickman", instead of "haven't been", when referring to the appearances of certain characters in F4.

I still regard these characters that I've mentioned to be general Marvel characters though, not just because they have had numerous extended absences from F4, but largely because I feel that they've become so prominent and important in the overall Marvel Universe. I feel as if they've transcended the point where they should merely be considered supporting characters for the Fantastic Four.

Honestly, I apologize if my tone comes across as snarky or as if I'm a know-it-all in these posts. It's just hard to dispay my usual laid back nature through this medium, lol
