If the hinges on those doors are like most cabinet hinges, you can adjust them with a turn of the screws at top and bottom of each hinge to narrow the gap between the closed doors. I don't have doors, but want them. Right now, things are just sort of piled.
Haha, at first I wanted to take them out, but keeping them sealed in the box kind of a grew on me. It's a different kind of style/art. I figured if I really wanted to take them out, I'll just buy a 2nd one to play with.

That's a good point with the ventilation. I don't mind the gap anymore after a few weeks.
