If the hinges on those doors are like most cabinet hinges, you can adjust them with a turn of the screws at top and bottom of each hinge to narrow the gap between the closed doors. However, it might be a good idea to keep that little gap to allow ventilation so moisture doesn't accumulate. That's particularly important if the wood is covered with lacquer, which is durable but doesn't breathe, and also if temperature and humidity are known to fluctuate in the room (e.g., cold days and no dehumidifier in the building). I don't have doors, but want them. Right now, things are just sort of piled.

Haha, at first I wanted to take them out, but keeping them sealed in the box kind of a grew on me. It's a different kind of style/art. I figured if I really wanted to take them out, I'll just buy a 2nd one to play with.

That's a good point with the ventilation. I don't mind the gap anymore after a few weeks.
