So I'm pretty new to actually collecting. Over the last 15 years or so I acquired a lot of action figures, but I didn't keep up on news or keep very good track of what was available or anything.

But I just moved and found time and space to get all my stuff out and set them up, and I find I have an interest in making the figures I have complete. and then maybe expanding the collection in a controlled way.

Anyway, After inventory is done I find I have a couple dozen figures missing accessories. And I'm wondering if there's a good way to get just the pieces? I see a lot of eBay lots, but I also saw the going price for a single 3-3/4 Star Wars lightsaber is $2? Is that right? Is that the best way to get replacement pieces? or is it to hang out on forums like this with the BST threads?

Is there an introduction to collecting page I should be reading so I don't ask newbie questions?
