I used to be the same way, back in 1997 when the Special Edition releases kicked off the modern era. I collected everything right up to and including a few TPM figs, buying doubles of the carded figs to have one sealed and one for display/play.

By the time I stopped, I had three long trunk-sized tubs full of carded figures, 3 carry-cases full of loose, complete figs and another large box full of the boxed vehicles/beasts. It was just taking up too much space at the time.

I stopped cold turkey for a few years, but have picked up a few here and there after ROTS came out (mostly OT and ROTS). I also have bought one of each mold for the SWTF line, though I consider them more part of my TF collection than SW (same with the Marvel Crossovers).
