As for the bootleg Tamashii effects, do you have a link to a specific seller, or is it more of a general Ebay search? I've never seen colours other than the official red and blue, and purple flames sound fantastic for Strange or Scarlet Witch.

I hear you; ponytail for the win. As far as links to seller(s) offering the bootlegs, I'm sorry, but I don't have any to provide. I purchased mine from two separate Chinese sellers with little to no history (I was basically taking a risk). As is typical with many vendors out of China, these sellers were offering listings for all things under the sun. Fishing tackle,clothes, ball bearings, and knock-off Tamashii flame effects (??? lol). My best advice to you would be to devote some time to looking periodically...

Yeah, I've been watching two listings for these effects for the better part of week and a half. I think I'm going to wait until they drop before committing. Apparently, there are two colors: blue and yellow. One of the listings (the yellow version) has sold out (they only had three). My hesitation in buying is due to not knowing exactly when they will be released. If you buy a 'pre-order' too far out from the release date (30 days), it'll drop out of your 'purchased' queue. Although buyer protection covers your order, I'm still very leery of these scenarios. I hate chasing after a seller that has not delivered my purchase within 2 months...I think that's a more than reasonable length of time given that eBay's terms stipulate that listings for pre-orders cannot be further out than 30 days from cleared payment. In spite of the rules (as I know them), I see greater than 30 day 'pre-order' listings all the time....

Kappahobby is a trusted seller (by me at least). I've personally bought from them (most of my blue/red tamashii flames - I have three of each) many times with no problems. Although, I've never done a pre-order from them...
