The weapons - a pair of missile pods and a pair of rifles - can be used individually to arm Magnus, or combined into a large hammer in homage of Transformers Animated Ultra Magnus' signature hammer. To top it all off, Ultra Magnus sports a good range of articulation and nice big feet to help him hold some solid action poses, though ankle tilts would certainly have been welcomed.

Combiner Wars Ultra Magnus is one of the best offerings to come from Hasbro in a line crammed full of great releases. As well as finally giving us a true Classics Ultra Magnus, we get one with the sharp look of the current IDW comic design, which looks amazing as a display piece and is every bit as fun to pick up and play with.
