Hasbro has appointed Michelle Micone as vice president of licensing for North America in its global licensing and publishing team. In the new role, Micone will oversee the company's North American licensing business and play a primary role in globalizing key categories such as hard goods, fashion and home.*She will also lead the retail development team, responsible for driving licensee sell-in and sell-through alongside the U.S. sales and marketing team.* She previously worked on the brand strategy and marketing for the My Little Pony, Littlest Pet Shop and Transformers*brands.*

Hasbro has also sent us another Press Release announcing the appointment of Meghan McCarthy to the position of Head of Storytelling, effective immediately. In this new role, McCarthy will report directly to Stephen Davis, Executive Vice President, Chief Content Officer. She will be based in the Los Angeles office of Hasbro Studios.

"Having worked closely with Meghan during the past four years and seen first-hand what an adept storyteller she is – clearly one of the best in our business – words cannot express how thrilled we are that she will be joining our organization," said Stephen Davis, Executive Vice President, Chief Content Officer.
