Hasbro could survive without Disney. It'd just be a considerably smaller company, particularly in the boys' toys department (though it would probably lead to a major attempt to revitalize G.I. Joe).

This is how rumors get started. Of course I was joking but someone would think it might actually be true.

And yeah I agree Disney holds the power but if they go around treating all their licensees like crap, eventually future potential licenses would be weary enough that money might not be as important as customer reputation. I dunno though,....businesses are in the business to make money.
