A while ago, I claimed that Kaylee was the weak link in Funko's Firefly line, but today, I truly think that Mal might be. If not, he's most definitely a VERY close second.

After I scored the other five Firefly figures (including hatted Jayne) within days of each other, the pressure was off to find them, and I decided to patiently seek out a Mal that didn't have paint problems or visible issues with his wrist joints. Having never found such a figure, I settled on the best one that I've seen in my area.

Questionable likeness aside, this guy had some annoying joint issues with his wrists (obviously) and left knee. They were all easy fixes, but I HATE having to repair action figures fresh out of the package. I decided to fix him instead of return him, because, aesthetically, this was the best Mal I've seen, and because I assumed that the others would probably all have similar issues.

I guess I was really lucky with my first five Firefly figures, but it seems that my streak ended with Mal
