here's a pic of an original for sale, my only comment would be the paint on the one in your pic looks almost to good, I had a SP Flash as a kid and his eyes were derpy, the flesh paint went onto the ridge of the mask (like in the link pic) and the lightning bolt belt paint was off. Plus there is no flashing (extra plastic where the mold comes together) on his feet. and the crotch looks a bit different. I thought the same but I did do a little research about their mail away, and from what I read it was carded and actually printed on the card that it was a mail away. I also read that they had different companies make these figures for Kenner, so I'm at a bit of a loss trying to figure out whats what. As far as comparing its looks to an original carded figure, they look really good and are half the price. I just want to make sure I buy an authentic figure and don't support the knock off artists.
I have a real one thats beat up enough that I can't compare it to the pictures I see online.
