Agreed they did him justice.

This looks like it might be Bryan Singer's last X-Men film too, though he hasn't said as much, but he might be going back to the producer seat only on the next batch. Not sure. It's been implied before that once this trilogy was wrapped up, they were going to try a slightly more fresh approach with the next batch using the updated continuity.

So far the slate is looking like X-Men Apocalypse, Deadpool, Wolverine 3(using hues of old man logan), Gambit, X-Force, and New Mutants.

The question right now is if New Mutants will be the comic team, or the title they might use for the new wave of X-Men features. From what's been suggested, I'm kind of thinking if Apocalypse does well, we might see X-Men: Onslaught as the next direct X-Men feature. Not sure if Singer will be attached to it though. Really depends on how well Apocalypse does probably.

X-Force is still open for debate, no finalized script or direction yet. Gambit is still in the scripting stages. Wolverine 3 seems to be the furthest along out of the batch besides what's been filmed or is currently filming. With Fox, directors have a lot more creative freedom on the properties, so the choices really do fall back on them more than that company as opposed to say Marvel where they focus on making it all cohesive to the one aligned cinematic universe. Though with Marvel, some directors get some creative leeway like Shane Black did for Iron Man 3. Really depends on how the talks go when Marvel is picking a director and what they bring to the table.

So even if X-Men went back to Marvel, the question would be if they'd ditch the current creative film team, or keep them. If they keep them, then we'd be seeing the same movies and style even under Disney.
Yeah I can't see much after apocalypse what they could do. I can see them going the younger generation route as well for the X-Men, unless they did a total reboot or something. Like they continue to do with spider man.

Spoilers will not soil your occulars here, but I must say as a lonnnnnggggg time Marvel fan, they totally pulled off old Hank Pym & left the door open for period piece adventures ala Agent Carter and CATFA!!! The MCU continues to flesh out in perfect continuity & expand in all directions. Big banged we have been :P

With visuals beyond past flicks, Ant-man got me more hyped for a hopefully truly psychedelic Dr. Strange next year. The shrinkage got me ha... [ EDITED FOR YOUNGSTERS INNOCENCE AND PURITY ]

As someone who never considered buying the 3.75" Ant-man + Ant set, I am now strongly leaning towards doing so. The movie made me love Scott Lang and Antony. Anyone out theres have any pros or cons about the 2 pack?
agreed now I'll probably get the sdcc set of the antmans.
