Oh yeah, kind of messed up with that bait and switch they are pulling with Snake Mountain. Did they even say at the convention itself that the actual product would be smaller?
Regarding the Digital River response, It's pretty much the same thing Neitlich used to say over and over again, only slightly different. After 8 years of the same empty promises, they should probably just come clean and say, "Yeah, we know about the problems with Digital River, but it is what it is and were sticking with them." That would at least be more straight forward.
About Snake Mountain, They did say it was going to be reduced in size at SDCC BUT they never said by how much until recently. It's like some kind of precognitive damage control. I don't buy into the reasons given for such a drastic size reduction of 10-20%.
