SPOILER ALERT I hated this twist, it was one of the biggest disappointments for me from a video game's story in a long time. So almost as soon as they revealed this Arkham Knight character some fans guessed "hey is it Jason Todd and is this basically just the Red Hood story?" and then Rocksteady and WB were all "no no no, this is an original character that we made exclusively for this game." Except what they really meant was "oh shit somebody guessed it right immediately after we showed him because that would be the obvious guess." Even if you don't know the Red Hood story with Jason they still force fed it onto the player throughout the game so that when the "big" reveal finally happens it's just boring because you already gathered it about two hours ago.
