I would go either way regarding capes, whatever they come with I stick with. The only ones I can definitely say I prefer being plastic are Doctor Strange's for its shape and design and Adam Warlock's because it has the collar and it needs that metallic sheen. However they painted my warlock fig it was plain horrible all the paint from the back of his legs has gotten all over the yellow on the inside of his cape its so bad I finally stored him and his cape in separate wrapping paper baggies and bins.
