Actually Victoria Hand was a lesbian, she just didn't mention it because who gives a shit what the sexuality of characters is. Unless it's relevant to the plot, it doesn't need pointing out just to show there's some diversity.

Professor X was paralysed, but has telepathy, Daredevil is blind, but has sonar, Echo is deaf, but can mimic movements. It really depends on the disability, and the power they have. Obviously you couldn't have muscle problems, but then be kicking ninjas to death. These are super humans, conditions resulting in disabilities wouldn't affect most of them because they're super.
