*Update 7/24: Revealed at today's IDW panel. IDW will have an event called Infestation. IDW's editor in chief Chris Ryall said they will have a huge event involving Transformers, GI Joe, Star Trek, GHostbusters, and CVO (and potentially others) that will be in continuity and will have lasting effects within each series.

At the panel, IDW editor Tom Waltz said "The license holders have been very supportive. We've got a huge opportunity to re-vitalize several of our older projects that maybe some folks haven't seen because they came to our line of books later. It's going to be a really challenging and fun project."
