Rebranding is what has kept transformers generations figures flowing in perfectly too. They've gone through even more rebrandings than MU has. From classics to now.

Every legends wave of the 6'' is technically a rebranding. (Each wave tied to a movie or other strong media connections helps push merchandise to retailers.)
Now MU is going through another to evolve with the brand to keep it going strong too. What's the problem with that?

And I can't say it's ever been hard to google the brand name either. Never had that issue on not finding the images I was looking for in relation to this line.

Toy Biz era is a smart thing to mimic. It wasn't until Toy Biz changed it up to inaction figures with heavy accessories that the lines started to tank. In fact they bought themselves some time from going belly up by re-releasing the old figures under a new heading with different paint apps. If these means back to the days of Toy Biz where it was 5-6 waves a year of 5-6 single carded figures, I'm all for it! Looks like a complete revival of MU underway tbh. Better card art, comic 2 packs are coming back, and the new figures are gorgeous as well as diverse. A little from everything Marvel. Heck, they've even now caught up to releasing all the figures from a spider-man game! Shattered Dimensions has now got all 4 protagonists in figure form! That's a store exclusive waiting to happen now.
It just seems to me like they don't have there shit together on this line. first, you rebrand when a line is dying, not when it's taking off (or when your trying to kill it). second, if you remember back to the later toybiz days, when we got SHS, there was a lot of confusion, on the part of the consumer, and retailers because the line was also officially Marvel Legends. That's why 90% of people that bought SHS figures got them at KB, no major retailer ordered them! Plus, like Transformers, a random rebrand gives them yet another opportunity to repack again and again. and third, Legends is not a rebrand every time, it's always legends, with a different theme wave to wave, from MU to MI to what the hell ever were calling it now there is no consistency to tie it all together on the 3.75 side. you may think it's "evolving" but I think it looks more like regressing, followed by an "oh shit we went too far! give them some card art" mentality. Forth, I'm guessing you have absolutely no clue why ToyBiz went under? I'll give you a hint, they were very profitable for the company they were under, the problem, the parent company went bankrupt in the 90's and had to sell off some of it's parts to stay alive, and keep printing comics. and last, Marvel Universe is literally in the company's logo! it refers to everything from cloths, to toys, to comics, cartoons, movies, and every other product in the world with cap's shield glued to it. I would just like a less nebulous name to make it easier to search on Ebay, as is if you refine down to MU in Toys, you still get Hot Toys, Toybiz, and some random stuff, but if you put in Marvel Legends you get legends from the past almost 20 years, and SHS, and now our line too. and you think that's not confusing?
