On that note, I have to say that I miss fireworks. Control freaks in local government finally managed to ban them. Funny thing, though: somebody seems to keep finding them.

Two horror flicks that scared me as a kid were the original Exorcist and the story of "Amelia" from Trilogy of Terror (1975).
