I love our line, but sometimes when we put TB Legends and BAFs next to them they don't look as good.

The amount of detail in TB's Legends and Showdown figures has never been matched by Hasbro. I was two seconds away from picking up the MODOK BAF, but I really felt as if he would make the rest of the figures look bad. His level of detail and shading are top-notch IMO.

So for Modok I went with the 5" Toybiz Ironman line. His arms and legs scale very well and he is a good deal larger than most 3.75 figures. I also gave mine a custom paint job, so others may not want to do all that.

I also made my Groot from a Legends AIM Soldier, but I wish I would have waited for Starlord, since you basically only need a head. Sometimes I feel like the Groot BAF is too big even for the other Legends. I like everything except his legs they seem like they just keep going up.

The only BAFs I'm currently using are:

Mandroid - It looks like the right size for a 3.75" figure to be inside of it

Mojo - His BAF isn't overly washed or shaded. His skin is really the only detailed portions and his scale is perfect. The 5" version is way too plastic looking for that one to work, but a paint wash would do wonders.

I do have some others, but they are displayed with my MCU legends.
