I'm excited for Hasbro's version of that costume, but I don't think it will hold a candle to Face Off Cap as far as sculpt and detail goes. Still, it might work as a nice placeholder until I can get my hands on it.

And yeah, I don't have too many ToyBiz figures since I started collecting once Hasbro got ahold of the line, but I've never had an issue with figures breaking until this Face Off Leader, and I've heard numerous people say that the face off line had some pretty bad QC in general. Luckily, the Leader is far less expensive to replace than that Hulk figure, so I'm not too bummed about it.

BTW, I've always wanted that FO Jigsaw in the white outfit, but yeah the prices are absurd for it.
For some reason, most of my Toybiz QC issues came from two particular lines, the Face Off Series, and the X-Men Classics line. Other than that, I never had a problem with any of my figures from them breaking. My Series 1 Captain America still has decently tight joints to this day!

The Jigsaw that I had was indeed the one in the white outfit, and he snapped clean in half at the waist. Why he goes for such ridiculous prices is beyond me...

Thankfully, though, I had a couple of Movie Masters Joker Goons from The Dark Knight line hanging around in my bin, and after they went through a set of "try outs", I sacrificed one to give Jigsaw new life. I actually like it better than the original figure now, as that FO Jigsaw had some weird hip joints, and used to flake paint off of the figure anytime you moved something. Plus...there's just something about that tacky bolo tie that the Joker Goons wore...it works perfectly with Jigsaw's personality I think.

If you're willing to spend a little bit of change to get your hands on the "Punisher" variant of Jigsaw and have a Joker Goon lying around, you can still make a kitbashed Jigsaw that will work pretty well in your collection without breaking the bank (although you won't have the smiling expression like mine does here...the Punisher version is a bit more rage filled.) The hardest part is getting those old Toybiz peg joints out of the head socket (a lot of heated water and a hairdryer will be needed, trust me) but once out, the rest is cake.
