It's not until I started collecting DBZ that I discovered these type of action figures. The best way to describe them is to say that they are a different "breed" of toy and I mean that in a good way. You have to hold one in your hands to understand what I'm trying to say here. I have bought DBZ, Naruto, Marvel and now DC SH Figuarts and I have to say that they are the best action figures I've ever had. They are not kid friendly as I notice some of the edges are very sharp and if played with roughly, they can come apart easily, but, if you're an adult collector who wants to display them loose, then, they have no comparison IMO.
Yeah, I still miss my S.H. Figuarts Krillin and Android 18. They were damn-near perfect representations of my favorite DBZ characters, but I had to sell them off during a pretty bad rough patch. Now they're way too expensive to get back...but they did help me out, so I can't be too mad about losing them.

It's awesome the way Figuarts will package accessories for a figure with a different character later in the series, like they did with Krillin and 18. That's some incredible attention to detail, letting you recreate specific scenes.
