They've been my top 5 favorite X-Men for as long as I've been an X-Men fan and I don't see it ever changing.
I'm actually bummed that Hugh Jackman is hanging up the claws after the next Wolverine movie but I commend him for being so committed to the character for so long. Going on 16 years now if I'm not mistaken and no matter the quality of the movie he gave some great performances.

For me, I'm not too picky with exact favourites, because you'll always be disappointed that they're not being utilised/used enough. I just try and enjoy who's on what team and find favourites in that particular series. The best thing about X-Comics is that anyone is always someone's favourite!

Both pretty well said and almost completely spot on. The only thing I'll say in contradiction is that Hugh Jackman should never have been cast as Logan. Wolverine is "an ugly little runt" and Hugh Jackman is a tall, attractive guy. He's a decent actor and all, but they should have cast Glenn Danzig or some unknown who looks more like Logan.
