Edit to add to your other point: I think part of why the people who do like his work is because it does have a sense of realism to it. I guess that's what happens when your inspiration is a real picture/video.

I think we need a wave of ML figures based artistic representations: diamond shaped or feetless people including big muscles for men and a stick like torso for women, and another wave where every character has the same mold and an O face. And another wave based off that UXM run where every character looked manga, I think that was during Austen's run.

I know for a fact he doesn't trace them, i do see after looking up a few of his other images, is that he copies inages of certain real life women and turns them into poses of female comic characters for variant covers.
