Ugly, yes. Not functional, no. I can get them into plenty of varying poses using those hip joints as long as the ankles have the articulation to match. A ball joint and thigh swivel would offer more articulation but it would break the aesthetic that these animated figures are going for. With the crummy H-crotches if you have them standing straight it offers a very nice, clean shape like the cartoon.

I really enjoy the Two-Face we already got but I'd totally also buy his TAS look. I think they're waiting on a TAS Two-Face since they're nearly identical in design. Then again we're already getting TNBA Harley despite her look being seemingly identical between shows. However Harley Quinn, especially now, is way more popular than almost any other bat-villain.
