Yours are a different colour because they are from a different year, most likely 1989. The 1989 sets are far more common compared to 1990 as Galoob were facing bankruptcy at the time. Anything from 1990 is considered rare. Loose micros are very desirable, I'm always buying them! Feel free to send me some pics. I do not recall matchbox micros I must admit.
