The life-size pistol was advertised as if it was made with real metal parts but it was actually all made of resin. The paint was terrible, the barrel wasn't straight and the display base was really flimsy. My dad just put it on a shelf, but I imagine a lot of folks probably bought this for Cosplay and it doesn't seem sturdy enough to hold up against even gentle handling. My dad was happy enough with the gift, but I spent about $75 on the stupid thing and felt like I got ripped off.
Does anyone else have some positive experience with QMX products they could share? I'd love to have a figure like this on display. Firefly stuff is one thing that's not just relegated to my mancave because my fiance likes it too, so I could totally get away with having something like this in my living room. Also, when's this coming out and how much are they going to charge? Thanks.
Well, quality wise this piece was on point. Nothing didn't work, nothing broke, nothing felt cheap. It was a solid 1/6th scale figure top to bottom. Only have a couple smaller things, keychains, which are just solid metal. No probs there.
This piece is out right now, can grab from them or online. Star Trek looks next, no date yet.
