Good news, fans of Transformers RPMs! The successor to the RPM series, Speed Stars, has made its debut with the first assortment (or perhaps two assortments) of the die cast car series. These die-cast cars and trucks carry on where the US releases of the Transformers RPMs left off, with the release of
NEST Bumblebee, Metal Heroes Optimus Prime, Metal Heroes Ironhide
(pictured),
Metal Heroes Jetfire, Metal Heroes Soundwave
and
Metal Heroes Highway Patrol Barricade
. Also expected for release in this assortment (but not yet spotted) is
Metal Heroes Bumblebee
, as these releases match up neatly with the Philippines-only releases of RPMs Mini-Vehicles Waves 5 and 6 - which also consisted of these seven characters, although to the frustration of completists the RPMs had altered paint jobs and different packaging. They were found at a Toys R Us in Clarksville, Tennessee by 2005 Boards supporter moreprimeland!
