Interesting that you say that. The thing that distinguished the Dark Knight Returns Batman figure, justifying a premium, was the fact that there was nothing remotely like it on the market. Everything, from the design to the articulation to the choice of materials, made it distinctive - a thing to be prized over its competitors. Now, with the market being flooded with characters, that distinctiveness is shot, and other details become more important, like the extent to which we like or dislike the designer's interpretation and the peculiar body proportions that are a necessary side effect of the extraordinary articulation.

I'm on the sidelines until reviews come in for this figure and its DCC and MAFEX competitors. What's the point of spending extra for fabric over the joints if the other versions look equally good on the shelf?
