Hello everyone.

Back in the early/ mid 90s some of the ToyBiz X-Men line was released in the UK (and in some other countries) by Tyco. The front of the packaging was very similar to the original but with less writing, some multilingual writing and with the Tyco stamp in place of the ToyBiz one in the bottom right corner. They also dropped "The Uncanny" tag, perhaps to increase recognition between the toys and the popular cartoon. The back of the packaging featured a character description in several different languages and a picture of the whole of that particular "wave." Tyco also released a couple of vehicles as well as several X-Force figures.

It seems like there were two "waves" released by Tyco. The first seems to be from 1993 and features Wolverine, Magneto, Iceman, Banshee etc. The second appears to be from 1994 and features some of the first wave toys alongside newer releases like Professor X and Storm.

So, I was wondering, has anyone seen a checklist anywhere of all the X-Men toys that were released by Tyco? Were there any further "waves" after the ones I mentioned here? Does anyone recall any instances at the time of stores selling the original ToyBiz releases alongside or instead of the Tyco ones? And were the "newer" X-Men toys from later in the 90s (eg "Age of Apocalypse") ever released in the UK?

Also, does anyone remember if the ToyBiz Iron Man and Fantastic Four lines were released in the UK back in 1995-96? The cartoons were definitely broadcast here.

Thanks!

(Edit: Posted this to the wrong forum, if a mod could please move it to the Marvel board I would be very grateful.)
