I don't know about that...I only saw a few people who said anything negative about women, and those people were obviously trolling. I've been going back to read the comments since the trailer dropped and I find amusement in reading the hate-filled, smart assed comments because I am also very annoyed that this remake happened, and that has nothing to do with any sort of dislike of females.
My dislike has NOTHING to do with it having a female cast, either. I'd think the humor in this movie is lame no matter what the gender of the actor saying the lines, since this style of humor is not for me at all. I don't know any females who think the movie looks good either I like all these actors in the remake also, and I've been a huge Kristin Wiig fan for years. My dislike for this movie has nothing to do with gender...like thousands of other men and women, we think it looks awful and it is insulting to be told I am a misogynist simply because I think a movie starring women looks moronic.
