I can overlook most paint jobs so I don't have an issue buying online. It's just easier especially because of the usually very long wait for retail. I rarely get a bad paint job from Amazon. You get the occasional one, yes, but 9/10, you get a goodie, and at decent prices if you wait on certain ones. 90% of my collection is from Amazon, so I know what I'm talking about.
