Yeah, I've been a DC fan since I was 4 or 5 and got my first Super Powers figures. Green Lantern has been my favorite since then with Batman holding a close second place. I try not to discriminate though, I've got love for Marvel too, but that love came a bit later in life.
I don't know what the technical difference between a doll and an action figure is, but I'd call Mezco's One:12 line action figures. Yes, they have cloth costumes, but toys have had cloth accessories since I was collecting a Kenner Justice League in the 80s. Most companies have stayed completely plastic, but some have branched out to metal, LEDs, and cloth. Personally, I love the way Mezco is doing it. It feels like the next evolution of action figures. Hot Toys and Sideshow Collectibles have been doing that in the 1:6 scale for a long time, nice to finally see the 1:12 scale get something done well in the same way
