Why didn't they just use the Spider-Man body from the upcoming Ultimate Spider-Man figure? That would have been a perfect mold to use since it doesn't have that weird sculpted webbing and is the perfect height for a MCU Spidey. Hopefully when Spidey's solo movie comes out they'll use the smaller spidey body mold.
The Spider-Man figure is noticeably shorter than the Captain America figure.

The web lines on the movie suit are lower than the red areas of the suit, they appear "sculpted" or indented or etched during the film.
