Never, their Alien and Predator stuff is the best those licenses have ever seen. Also movies, especially those with strong followings such as the Alien and Predator franchises, tend to perform better in the toy market than video games. You'd figure more gamers would also be into getting figures but that's obviously not the case. Perhaps it's because movies have a more lasting presence and impact while even the greatest of games are still overlooked by the public at large.

Songbird looks like something around 60' tall (spitballing here) so an accurate figure would be almost 6' tall, it would have been easier for them to just make a costume at that point. For me a 6 or 7" tall Songbird would probably have been the way to go out of scale since he does have a wingspan and he is bulkier than he is tall.

The #1 HotS figure I would like to see NECA make, which there's a good chance they will/are, is Kerrigan. After her any of the Protoss would be acceptable but Tassadar is my favorite.
