Hard to say exactly how much better it is based on pictures (but Trunks is out soon, he'll be a good example) but from the pictures you'll notice that the whole hip area is much better, a pose like the one featured in the picture posted by Joe above is much harder to pull off with the old figure, if it even works.

Second the shoulders are probably a huge deal, the old ones are good but the new ones are even better. The Awakening Goku had shoulders like these and they are great. You can't really tell in the pictures though, that's more a thing you'll realize once you have him in hand.

Third, the torso. The old Super Vegeta had no articulation in the abdomen, only at the cut between the armor and the lower body. This new one has a balljoint (or maybe even two) inside the armor which means you can articulate the torso much better.
