Actually the WSD happened to me during both the SDCC sale on 8/2 and the 8/16 sale. My way around it so I guaranteed myself a figure was opening up several windows spaced about 30 seconds apart and eventually the figures and the cart moved to the appropriate screens, I checked out and got my confirmation.
