What would stop Mezco, lack of interest or no rights?

Why over 20 years? For all we know, the companies will be defunct by then.

Randy Falk explained that what allows Mezco and DCC to do DC movie figures in that scale is the price. $20 6/7" figures are Mattel's domain and since that's the usual price range of 7" NECA figures, they can't do DC figures in that scale under normal circumstances. The premium figures DCC are coming out with now are around $40, and Mezco's One:12 figures are around $70. It seems like nobody's stepping on anyone else's toes since each of these lines are in a different price range.
