Yeah, DC has certainly gone against the norm and I think it is actually great. I really love the way the ab crunch and chest rotation work. Plus it is nice to not have to worry about the waist rotation being hindered by something on a belt.

As for the back of Superman's head, I didn't even notice that and I don't think it is a big deal because it allows his head to tilt upward more for flying poses. Something I did notice is that there are also things you don't see on these figures that some reviewers make a comment about unless you are looking at them enlarged. It's one of the reasons I'm not a fan of Jay C's reviews. He will nitpick some areas, but then ignore others and when you make a comment about it, he will say, "Well you can't expect every figure to be perfect."
