I started collecting in an age where 6 inch had just started getting praised again, and I was told that 6 inch was better than the 3 3/4 inch figures that I had started collecting. Kinda meh. I still LIKE them, but I didn't get as satisfied with them as I did the 3 3/4 inch figures. It took me a few months, but I finally found out what the problem was:

THE 6 INCH FIGURES WERE BASICALLY LARGER 3 3/4 INCH FIGURES.

Seriously, only one of my 5 Legends figures has ever satisfied me in the way an MU does, and that one was the Odin Wave Hawkeye!

So, basic advice, try 3 3/4 inch first, form an opinion on them, and then get a few MLs. Once you have formed an opinion on both, decide your favored scale.
