I recall my mother brings up once in a blue moon, when she bought me the "black spider-man" and the " Pink Spider-man" ( baron Zemo ) back in the 80s when the original secret wars toys came out. that goes to show you people whom ARE NOT comic knowledgeable don't have a clue have to who alot of these guys are. i mean we all do but we're all fans and collectors of this series of toys.

I don't know man, I feel like for as ignorant as retailers are regarding comic books, even they should be looking at their shelves and going "You know? Hasbro has released a lot of Captain Americas this year. Maybe kids just don't need another one."


I mean, it's not like they or the kids pay much attention to the individual costumes and such of each figure the way we do. I do know that Hasbro likes to anchor each wave to an upcoming movie release though, so that probably plays into a bit too. I mean, after all, you can't really have a Spider-Man wave without Spider-Man in some shape or form, can you?
