There'd have to be some rules on what you can tell fans or ask fans, but I'm still seeing more positives than negatives to this. Plus, if you also use it for personal experiences and fandoms, you might humanize yourself to fans, which would give us some more assurance that you aren't just some faceless company robot pumping out figures.

I remember Aliastair Dewar from Character Options used to have one, and I liked seeing the 3.75 Doctor Who figures early, but considering how salty DW fans are to the 3.75 line(a bit unfairly so, in my opinion), he probably got tired of it.
