Look up big head punisher there were 2 or 3 Punishers in the early waves One had Black gloves and Boots, one had White Gloves and Boots, and there were 2 different head molds one was larger and one was more in scale.

Kinda like the X-Suit Wolverine, he had a big head variant as well. I don't think these were actually variants more so production changes.

You make some great points and I hear your side completely, I think you might be a bit too optimistic and are giving Hasbro way too much credit, but hey if you have done the research and fully believe what you have said good for you. I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope in a couple years you can say "I told you so!"
