They could easily both be Nova, perhaps the other characters will just have to call Rich Nova Prime which is technically his proper title. Nova is one of the few heroes that actually already has a system in place to account for there being multiple Novas serving the corps. Pretty much like how there are many Green Lanterns at once but actually with the Nova Corps it's easier to explain as they aren't sector specific.

Either nova or call sam sova ( sam nova ) or novus. Richard Rider should be called Nova. Also just cause it took so llong id love nova to plant a soliid energized kick into starlords groin for leavin him behind.
