Basically the way i've been reading it, Marvel plains on having more then 2 of each title come october. Example richard rider Nova and sam wilson, new iron man riri williams and infamous iron man doctor doom, and 2 thors jane foster thor and Odinson thor... while i felt they should have done something like this since the beginning. Let's see how it rolls.

I don't think it's a bad move for Marvel. Personally, I would rather read about Richard Rider than Sam Alexander. Richard was this awesome space cop fighting space threats. Sam (to me at least) is a kid trying to balance life as a super hero and life as a teen. Granted he has some cool moments but Spider-Man went through that too. I've read those stories hundreds of times. I don't need to read it again. Readers can pick and choose which characters they want to read and that's good. Instead of forcing change down our throats, we can stick with the old stand by guys or choose to read about these new representations.
But in a year, Marvel will launch all new number 1's again and this whole thing won't matter.
